About the Practice
This is a private, home-based psychological practice offering individual therapy and couples counselling from a dedicated therapy space within my home.
The practice has been intentionally designed to provide a warm, comfortable and professional environment that feels more personal and relaxed than a traditional clinic. The therapy space is separate from the everyday living areas of the home, with privacy and professional boundaries maintained throughout your appointment.
As a small private practice, I value providing personalised care and creating a setting where you can feel comfortable, at ease and able to focus on what brings you to therapy.
Appointments are tailored to each individual, with therapy focused on understanding your unique circumstances, concerns and goals. My aim is to provide a thoughtful and welcoming space where you can explore what is happening in your life and work towards meaningful change.
Visiting the Practice
The practice is located within my home in Warner (QLD), with a dedicated therapy space separate from the main living areas. I understand that visiting a home-based practice may feel a little different from attending a traditional clinic, so I want to make the practical details of your visit as clear as possible.
Parking
Designated street parking is available nearby, with clients welcome to park on the street close to the property. Please do not park in the driveway of the property.
Arriving for your appointment
When you arrive, please make your way to the front entrance and ring the doorbell. I will meet you at the door at the beginning of your appointment and show you through to the therapy space. As this is a private home, please arrive at your scheduled appointment time rather than significantly earlier, as I may be finishing with another client.
Bathroom
A bathroom is available onsite for clients to use if required.
Accessibility
Please note that the property is not wheelchair accessible. There is a step up onto the front porch and the driveway is relatively steep. If you have any mobility, accessibility or other physical requirements that may affect your ability to access the practice, please get in touch before booking so we can discuss whether the setting is suitable for you.
Children and pets
As the practice is located within my home, please contact me before bringing children or pets to an appointment. The therapy space is intended to provide a quiet and private environment for sessions, and arrangements may need to be discussed in advance.
Charlie is my English Springer Spaniel and is currently in training to become a therapy dog. He has previously worked alongside a physiotherapist, assisting with veterans and individuals with disabilities.
Charlie is available to be involved in animal-assisted therapy sessions at no additional cost for clients who are interested and would like to support Charlie in his training. If you would like Charlie to be involved in your sessions, please mention this when making your enquiry or booking. His involvement is dependent on his availability and training schedule.
